Intersal Personnel
John P. Masters, Chairman of the Board, Acting Secretary and Director
Mr. John Masters is the son of Intersal’s late founder Philip Masters. Educated in History and Music at the University of Florida, Mr. Masters spent years helping his father research and hunt for shipwrecks and has worked for Intersal since 1990. Mr. Masters experience includes: Liaison with the State of North Carolina officials and archaeologists. Recovery team crewmember for the Queen Anne’s Revenge shipwreck project (1997 to present); Intersal Director of Operations, leading the search for El Salvador (1999-2012); QAR Archaeological Advisory Committee (member 1999 to present; Chairman 2000) Lead diver for Amelia Research, Santa Margarita Expedition (Florida Keys, 2004); Crew/Diver for Bert Webber and Los Cayos Inc. (Dominican Republic, 2005); Underwater Archaeological Technician for the State of North Carolina (2006/ 2007); Consultant for Firefly Project, Odyssey Marine Exploration (NC, Florida and Panama 2008/2009). Mr. Masters’ specialties include zero-visibility diving and shallow-water project management.
David J. Reeder, President, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. David Reeder, is a native Florida resident and friend of Intersal’s late founder Philip Masters. He has been a contributing member of Intersal since 1990. Educated at Tampa Technical Institute with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mr. Reeder has been employed in the DOD (GS-10) contract arena for over 40 years. Formerly an employee of L3Harris Technologies, Mr. Reeder’s areas of expertise include extensive technical test engineering, RF systems, contractual liaison work with the USN, USAF, JPL, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, NASA and other agencies. He also has experience negotiating with numerous foreign governments. Prior to joining L3Harris he worked in all phases of fiberglass boat design and manufacturing. Mr. Reeder also holds an ABA degree from St Petersburg Junior College.
Kevin Meadows, Vice President, Chief Operations Officer and Director
Kevin has been working with Intersal since 1999 as a diver and crew member. Mr. Meadows is a retired United States Marine, Master Gunnery Sergeant (E-9) with 27 plus years of real-world operational project experience. Mr. Meadows also has seven years’ experience as a Senior Program Manager with a major defense contractor supporting the United States Armed Forces in the United States and overseas. Mr. Meadows is a graduate of Campbell University.
Glenn R. Haft, Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and Director
Mr Haft is currently President of Haft, Steinlauf & Co., a public accounting firm located in Plantation Florida that he co-founded in 1992. He previously worked as a sole practitioner specializing in taxation. Mr.Haft began his career with a national accounting firm in New York City. Glenn received his accounting degree from Queens College.
Tom Moran – Executive Vice President
Thomas Moran has served as CFO, Director of Marketing for Intersal from 2016 to 2021. Mr. Moran resides in Palm Bay, Florida and is a licensed public insurance adjuster. Mr. Moran has extensive sales and marketing training. He was awarded top sales associate at American Resource Management in 2015. Tomas Moran was born in Stuart, Florida in 1970 and attended Florida Atlantic University and Florida Keys Community College.
